Self care is essential for protecting your mental health and there’s so many ways to practice it. This post contains 60 self care ideas that you can add to your list. You’ll love all these ideas because I definitely do! There’s a range of self care ideas here suited to pretty much everyone’s needs.

I practice self care at least once a week and I highly encourage it as a self-care gives you a chance to unwind and forget about the things that are troubling you most. You may already have a self care routine and are looking for things to add or you may be new and have no clue on where to start. Whatever reason you’re here, you’ll find something you enjoy!

Self care ideas for a pamper night

1. Have a nice, warm bubble bath using your favourite bubble bath!

2. Apply a face mask that targets your specific skin problems.

3. Apply lotion that is scented with your favourite smell, mine’s vanilla!

4. Indulge in your favourite sweet treats that you wouldn’t normally eat daily.

5. Paint your nails in your favourite colour and apply a nourishing hand lotion.

6. Watch your favourite movies and TV series while being wrapped up in a fluffy blanket.

7. Style your hair into your favourite style! (Be sure to use heat protection if using a hair styling tool)

8. Change into comfy clothing such as pyjamas or loungewear.

9. Enjoy a warm drink such as hot chocolate or tea.

10. Light your favourite candle and turn the lights down to create a calm atmosphere.
